On October 7, 1910, Absinthe was banned in Switzerland until its restrictions had lifted on March 1st, 2005. Today, it is generally agreed that the combination of commercial and ideological reasons had caused the nearly worldwide ban for almost a century.
For its hundredth birthday, which is to be marked by L’Absinthe KÜBLER Cuvée du Centenaire, Yves Kübler, great-grandson of the KÜBLER brand founder in 1863, yet addresses his utterance to the event of Absinthe outlaw.
L’Absinthe KÜBLER Cuvée du Centenaire was distilled from a generations-old family recipe on October 7, 2010. This authentic Absinthe from the Val-de-Travers, where Absinthe was invented end of the 18th century, is one of its most precious declarations of Absinthe with a strictly limited edition of 3000 bottles. Each individually denoted 50 cl special release of Absinthe KÜBLER Cuvée du Centenaire includes imprinted historical data and comes in an exclusive packaging.
L’Absinthe KÜBLER Cuvée du Centenaire develops best taste and its characteristic green or bluish cloudiness by mixing 1:5 with fresh spring water. It is an excellent aperitif.
